From trendy grays to sea salt paint colors, what design trends do we expect to see in the coming year 2019?

I must admit I’m obsessed with the bright whites and grays often reflected in the satisfying episodes of HGTV’s Property Brothers and Joanna Gaines Fixer Upper. I haven’t painted my home in over eight years and most of my walls are neutral and beige.

I often find myself pacing back and forth visualizing my two story foyer dressed in all white paint, a fig plant in the entry way, a rustic chandelier with farmhouse appeal. Similar to this inspiration photo I found on Lily Pad Cottage website.

If you are looking to update your walls with something more trendy don’t be afraid to repaint. Choosing a paint color is often a difficult choice sometimes because it can be costly and you should take time to explore different color options by sampling paint and using visualization apps to assist you in the process.

Otherways to update your home:

• Consider only repainting an accent wall. Beige wall color works well with grays;
• Update furniture and accessories;
• add wall art and/ or wall coverings.
