The amount of time we put in maintaining our homes is significant. Are you ready to put your house in order, tidy up, and live peacefully? Please join me and sign up for the 30 day declutter challenge and learn how to declutter your home fast.
Why should you participate? It’s FREE. Everyone loves a clean space and peace of mind. Organizing a whole house can be a big task to take on. By doing small tasks of organizing on a daily basis, you can reduce the amount of time it takes you to organize and become more consistent in the long term.
Some benefits of decluttering include:
- Save Money. When our homes are cluttered, we do not know where we placed certain items and often have to repurchase the same item from the store again. Organizing helps us keep better inventory of items avoiding unnecessary expenses.
- Peace of Mind. We can feel more relaxed and less stressed when our homes are in order.
- Sense of letting go and giving to charity. Clothes, cars, appliances, etc are items that can be donated to local charities and causes. In most cases, donations can be claimed as tax deduction.
- Better health. A clean and tidy house is very important for asthmatics and people who suffers from hay fever.
There are lots of other great benefits to decluttering your home.
Here are a few things to keep in mind before you begin the decluttering challenge: hold yourself accountable – partner up with a friend, make time to complete the challenge, schedule days for donation and bulk trash pickup, and have lots of trash bag and recycling bins on hand.
So let’s get started!
Below I have included a checklist “30 Ways to Declutter in 30 Days”. Try to do as many of the tasks each day to complete the 30 day challenge. The challenge starts April 15th through May 15th. Please use the hashtag #twicethecharmblogdeclutter” when posting your progress to the challenge. Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog in order to receive frequent updates.
