A few weeks ago, I visited my mother-in-law to take a look at a dresser that she planned to give to me. The dresser was white with great bones, and a french provincial look. So, being the DIYer that I am, I was ready to take this piece home, and change it into something beautiful for my daughter’s room.
In my mind, I envisioned glass knob hardware, and painting the chipped door handles black. I was so excited that I didn’t waste too much time getting this dresser prepped for a makeover. So, I visited my local hardware store and picked up a pint of semi-gloss paint with primer in white color. I found two adorable glass door knobs for the dresser. The total cost of this DIY project was around $30.00 and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Voila, look at it now!!!
So, classy and chic. If you need help with revamping an old piece of furniture, feel free to send me a post and I would be happy to give you some ideas.
Happy DIY’ing!!!!
